The heavily armored Fane Knights are the cult's ancient, traditional fighting forces, formed in the centuries after the founding of Eversael. Their loyalty to Fane is considered beyond question - many fought to the death in the city's defense, and the survivors followed their masters into catacombs beneath the ruins.
After the subjugation of the Styrges, the Fane Knights learned to ride these beasts, forming a nocturnal cavalry that can soar through the skies of Caen and strike unseen on moonless nights.
