Welcome to *Le Pharaon à l’abeille*, a French-language version of the *Monster of the Week* setting. More than just a scenario, this short supplement provides an *X-Files* or *Fringe*-style backdrop for your games.
You’ll find:
• an initial mystery, serving as a proper ‘pilot’ for your adventures in this setting,
• a description of the supporting characters and key locations,
• suggestions for ready-to-play character profiles for your team of hunters,
• possible story arcs for your future games.
This first mystery takes place during an exhibition opening at a museum in Washington. The event celebrates the astonishing discoveries of a high-profile Egyptologist, who has come to present artefacts from his collection found at a secret site within the pyramid of a pharaoh hitherto unknown to history and nicknamed ‘the Pharaoh with the Bee’. But the celebration takes a tragic turn: one or more creatures are slaughtering the guests. Fortunately, agents from the B.I.L. (Bureau of Investigations on Legends) are already on the scene. Will they put a stop to the massacre? Who is the Pharaoh with the Bee? Do the answers to these questions lie within our own dimension?
Be careful not to trip over a bone…
