This first mystery takes place in 1935 in the small town of Tupelo. Times are hard, work is scarce, and famine looms. A strange death in the middle of the street has the small community on edge. An ominous storm is approaching. Strange individuals have recently arrived in town. What is going on? Is it connected to that ancient Native American prophecy?
The characters are members of a travelling circus passing through town – the ‘friendly monsters’ of a freak show – united to fight against the dark forces.
Will they hold the key to influencing what is unfolding? Will they tip the balance in the right direction? Will they change the course of history?
