This set of plastic resources matches the other plastic components in scale. It simply enhances the overall impression you'll get if you have the Miniatures expansion. Just like the playmat, this add-on is purely aesthetic in nature and does not in any way influence the mechanics of the game. You still have to use the wooden coal pieces for the Generator.
