No sect arouses as much fear at its mention, as much revulsion in the face of its ideologies, as the Sabbat. The self-proclaimed Sword of Cain wages a war, a war of the ages, a holy war, a war of Gehenna, against the legendary progenitors of the clans, the antediluvians. Following the text of the Book of Nod, the Sabbat seeks to avenge the ancient betrayal suffered by Cain at the hands of his rebellious children, and seeks nothing less than the destruction of the antediluvians and the submission of the mortal world to a cruel hierarchy in the top of which the vampires sit.
