Guardians of the Abyss is an expansion of 78 new cards for Horror in Arkham: the Card Game which includes 2 linked scenarios. In Eternal Torpor, investigators travel to Cairo to unravel the mysteries surrounding a medical mystery and find themselves caught in the web of a horrific scheme. In The Night Usurper, they set out in search of a portal in the desert leading to a world beyond their imagination, in order to prevent an ancient prophecy from destroying the Earth. Each of these scenarios can be played independently or as an add-on adventure integrated into a campaign.
