High Society is a classic auction game designed by the legendary Reiner Knizia. Players represent wealthy socialites competing to acquire the most prestigious luxury items while avoiding scandals that could ruin their reputation. The catch? The player with the least money at the end of the game is immediately disqualified, regardless of their prestige.
This simple but brutal mechanic creates an environment of intense psychological play and risk-taking. You must bid enough to win the items you want, but keep enough cash to stay in the game. This edition features elegant artwork that perfectly captures the theme of turn-of-the-century opulence.
