To Be or Not to Be a Villain RPG (5E) (EN)

To Be or Not to Be a Villain is a unique role-playing adventure compatible with the 5th edition of the world's most popular fantasy RPG and ZWEIHÄNDER Grim & Perilous RPG. The adventure uses nine pre-generated characters and takes about twelve hours for most groups to complete. You can play the adventure as one marathon session or break out the experience into several sessions.

This adventure requires two GMs. One, called the Director, constantly runs the story in the way a GM normally does. The Director facilitates large group scenes, determines the beginning and end of each act of play, and ultimately has the final say in any disputed matter of the rules and story. The second GM is the Playwright. The Playwright assists the Director and runs side scenes with one or more PCs. These side scenes could be dictated by the adventure, an optional scene chosen by the Playwright, or a scene created as the result of a PC spending a Story Token.
