Gateway is a product that introduces new players to the Disney Lorcana gaming experience. It is a packaged product intended to be sold in the board games and TCG section, and includes 2 small decks, a game board, tokens, instructions, and several special card packs. The starter decks are designed to be very simple. Over the course of several Lorcana games, players will earn special packs containing new cards for the decks, gradually introducing more and more game concepts. This makes the initial experience much easier to understand, while ensuring that players will learn the entire game by the time they have all the packs.
