The Great Hunt is an expansion of the Beast board game, introducing a new Beast called The Feathered King. Starting in his Unborn form, The Feathered King is weak at the beginning of the game, but becomes more and more powerful until he transforms into his Rebirth form. The Great Hunt tells the story of Esmeria, a fearless hunter who won't stop until she kills The Feathered King.
Contents:
- A new Beast: The Feathered King. This two-faced Beast specializes in summoning and stealing resources from its opposing hunters. His dreamers are humans bewitched by his false promises, who fulfill his dark will before being sacrificed for his profit when he chooses.
- A new hunter: Esmeria. Captain of the Great Hunt, Esmeria is relentlessly in her hunt for Beasts and can follow an unlimited number of tracks to catch up with her prey. With her Death Star upgrade, she can even act before the Beast starts her turn.
- A new type of Contract. The Great Hunt introduces a new way to play Beast, with multiple possible paths, objectives, and outcomes.
