Designed by Rob Daviau and Marco Portugal, Fear of the Unknown marks a new Season of the hit board game that brought a new twist to the mythos universe created by H.P. Lovecraft. Face the challenges of 6 new Episode and 2 new Elder Boxes, that bring new insanities and monsters as well as new modular rules in this cooperative board game for 1 to 5 players.

A new season for Cthulhu: Death May Die - Fear of the Unknown adds new rules and more content to a game that is known and loved around the world. Fear of the Unknown is fully compatible with the previously released Cthulhu: Death May Die content.

Unknown rules and upgrade to previous seasons - The core box comes with 16 Unknown Monster cards for the Monsters of the Cthulhu: Death May Die core box, offering a content upgrade to old fans of the game line.

2 new Elder Ones - Cthulhu: Death May Die - Fear of the Unknown features 2 brand new Elder Ones: Tsathoggua and Azathoth, each with exclusive components and game mechanics to offer more challenges to the players.

This is a standalone product. No other Cthulhu Death May Die product is needed to play.
