Powerline
In Powerline, players attempt to connect cities with new sources of energy production.
Gameplay Overview
The game lasts for 16 rounds, during which players work to build power lines and connect cities. Each round follows these steps:
- Dice Roll: Six colored dice are rolled and arranged on their designated spaces on the central board.
- Building Power Lines: Each player uses the dice, either from right to left or left to right, to build the power lines on their individual player board. Power lines range in length from 3-12 spaces, with each space showing a die result.
Players must strategize carefully, as:
- Using a certain number of dice is allowed only a limited number of times.
- Skipping a die results in a penalty.
Objectives and Scoring
Throughout the game, there are three objectives that will be evaluated during specific rounds. At the end of the game, players earn points based on:
- Completed power lines.
- Fully connected cities.
Points are deducted for any power lines started but left incomplete.
The player with the most points at the end of the game is declared the winner!
