The Ryozen Deluxe Kickstarter Edition, compared to the Essential Edition, stands out thanks to several upgraded and exclusive components. The box features a UV spot varnish finish, while some elements inside — such as the Coin, Scroll, and Lantern tiles — are replaced with realistic plastic resources. The Herald, Pioneer, and Favor tiles are replaced with custom shaped screen-printed wooden tokens.
The standard plastic tray is upgraded to an engraved plastic tray, and custom organizers in plastic are also included. As an additional special feature, this edition includes two miniatures: the Phoenix and the Dragon.
