Welcome to 1830, a railroad game that is geographically located in the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. The game owes its name to the Baltimore & Ohio Railway Company, which started operations on May 24, 1830. As usual with 18XX games, players take on the roles of investors and directors of railroad companies and try to make as much money as possible.
