The Call of Cthulhu is a role-playing game full of secrets, mystery and horror, based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft. As courageous investigators, you'll visit strange and dangerous sites, uncover dastardly plots and confront the horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos. You'll encounter mind-bending entities, monsters and demented disciples. In the pages of ancient books, you'll stumble across secrets humanity should never have discovered. And the fate of the entire world will be in the hands of you and your companions. The Keeper's Manual contains the basic rules, a description of the universe, the game's spells and monsters, and tips on how to play the game. It is intended for the Arcane Keeper, the player who will introduce the adventure to the other participants. You must have at least one copy of this book to play Call of Cthulhu. The other players, the investigators, must have at least one copy of the Investigator's Manual, which contains the advanced rules on character creation, skills, occupations, equipment and so on.
